THE SATIN BOWERBIRD

This is a character design based heavily on the male Bowerbird, a striking blue bird that decorates its nest with any number of colorful objects. I imagined a humanoid version of this species being a vain, obsessive, meticulously groomed kleptomaniac with a similar reputation for hoarding shiny trinkets as magpies do. I'm unlikely to revisit this character again, but I might find a purpose for him someday. Credit for the small blurb of text goes to Wikipedia.
